The Community Design Collaborative in partnership with Partners for Sacred Places is excited to announce the next phase of Infill Philadelphia! Join us to demonstrate that underutilized space in historic sacred properties throughout Philadelphia can be activated in ways that expand the civic commons, serve a larger secular purpose, and strengthen communities! Sacred Places/Civic Spaces is funded by the William Penn Foundation.
The Community Design Collaborative and Partners for Sacred Places are calling for design precedents for a Sacred Places/Civic Spaces Design Precedents Exhibition to kick off the initiative. The exhibition will highlight the intersection between historic sacred places and communities and will serve as inspiration for the Sacred Places/Civic Spaces Design Challenge.
Sorry! The deadline to submit has passed. We are currently reviewing submissions and crafting a public exhibition of precedents for this initiative, that will be displayed at the Sacred Places/Civic Spaces Launch on June 5!
Infill Philadelphia: Sacred Places/Civic Spaces is possible thanks to the generous support of the William Penn Foundation.
